Hi, I’m Shelby. A wedding and portrait photographer based in New Waverly, Texas but always open to traveling - and I am beyond excited that you are here. I found my passion for photography when my daughter, Blakely, was born. Shortly after she arrived, I realized how valuable documenting her milestones and everyday interactions were - time was flying and every moment was one that I wanted to remember. Each moment as your grow up hold such an irreplaceable value as the next day comes - and then the next year. Life passes by quickly and before you know it, photographs are all you have to remember those precious moments.

A personal heirloom full of emotion captured to be a still moment, that you can pass down for generations after you - and generations after them. After all, once a moment is gone all that is left is the memory you carry. Unless of course - photographed.

1.When I’m not documenting someones special moments -
I adore spending time with my daughter Blakely, my long time boyfriend Justin, and our two corgis, Dutton and Peaches. Typically spending our time outside riding four wheelers, taking the on out on the lake, or hanging at an outside dive bar.
2.If I had to give you a list of things I couldn’t live without -
My camera (shocker, I know), Diet Coke, any kind of energy drink (us business owners need all the caffeine we can get), 20 minutes of silence when I first wake up, a good hamburger, my comfort movie How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days and Texas Country Music.
3.A couple random facts about me -
I was born and raised in the same town until I turned 23 and moved away. I am deeply terrified of snakes and spiders. I’ve never been on a cruise. Mountains > Beach. I’ve suffered from chronic migraines since I was 13. My first concert was a Reba concert.
4.MY JOURNEY TO THIS POINT..
I had my daughter when I was 17 - and originally had dreams of pursuing Nursing in college. After 2 years in community college I realized that my heart was not in it as much as it was photography. I dropped out and made it my mission to take photography full-time and now.. here we are.
